Meet Chade who is one of our Spa therapists and recently went on maternity leave. Amidst the lockdown she gave birth to her beautiful baby boy. We reached out to her to recognise her wonderful experience.
‘’When I heard that we are going to be closed and be on lockdown it shattered me. The following things went through my mind; being pregnant and having to give birth during this pandemic; not having to see family; or being able to work.
Lockdown has taught me a lot: to appreciate the little things in life which is life itself; family and friends. I’m also so grateful to have this quality time to spend with my son, and importantly travel home to spend time with my family and have them meet my son. Especially my granny who is 86 years old.
I am thankful to Ellerman House for all the motivational messages sent during such a hard time. The Spa team for their moral support whether it was a message, phone call or video call. It all made me feel a sense of belonging and appreciated.
I am looking forward to being reunited with my Ellerman House family and having to face our new challenges together with an open mind and new positivity.”
